Welcome to our 2023/2024 hockey season!! We are excited to welcome all skaters back to the ice! In an effort to minimize some of the tasks our dedicated volunteers do throughout the season we have made some changes to our registration process. Online registration will be available from 12:00 noon on August 30th until 6:00 September 6th. Please pay close attention to the following information…..
Fees this year are:1st child $475, 2nd child $435 & 3rd child $395.
For girls that want to play both female hockey & minor hockey the fee is $775 but $475 for either program alone .
*Online Registration
This year online registration will only be open to participants paying with Visa, Mastercard or Visa Debit. Registration can be paid in full at the time of registration or participants can take advantage of our fantastic payment plan. This allows 4 payments between now and December 1st. The plan splits the fee into 4 equal payments- one at registration, then automatically on October 1st, November 1st, and December 1st. ** Please note...we are no longer accepting post dated cheques.
*In Person Registration
In person registration will be held on September 7th 5:00-6:30 in the theatre lobby at the EEC. In person registration is available to anyone who is paying by etransfer or availing of Jumpstart or Breakaway programs. ** Please note, if paying by etransfer our payment plan is not an option.
*First Time Player Discount
CAMHA would like to send a special welcome to all first time players! We would also like to offer a “Put On The Gear” trial period! Any new player in any division can put on their gear and give hockey a try for 3 weeks! If your child loves it (which I’m sure they will) their registration will have a 50% discount! Payment will begin on October 1st and can be paid in full at that time. Or participants can take advantage of our fantastic payment plan, which allows for 3 payments October 1st, November 1st and December 1st.
If paying by Visa, Mastercard or Visa Debit please register online and be sure to select first time player option at the time of registration. A 1% administration fee will be required at the time of registration.
**Please note…if you are registering more than 1 child the multi player discount will not apply if one of these players is a first time player. This will be 2 separate registrations!
*Female Discount
Female players that would like to play both female and minor divisions will be offered a discount. Please register for both divisions separately and you will be refunded $175 before December 15th.
*Birth Certificates
All new players registering with CAMHA is required to submit a birth certificate before their first practice. Please email a photo of your childs birth certificate to kellypitts1975@gmail.com
* Respect in Sport Parent
Hockey Canada requires at least one parent from every family to complete Respect in Sport Parent. Please follow the link below. *Please note...you are only required to complete this course once, not every season. Please keep a copy of your certificate for future reference.
Respect in Sport for Parents
Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador requires that one parent from all minor hockey families complete the Respect in Sport Parent Course before registering their children. If you have not previously completed the course please do so as soon as possible. It can be accessed using the following link:
